Biography
Nikolay Manolov was born in 1984. According to him, by formation he is a rocket engineer, though, officially, he attended the Bauman Moscow State Technical University, the Department of ‘Computer Systems, Complexes and Networks’.
He dropped out. Left for America and worked 4 years as a programmer and a programming coach. Then returned to Russia and founded, in 2009, his first IT company.
Among his most notable achievements is the ‘data360.ru’ project – a platform for mobile retailers and auditors. The project was successfully sold.
In 2016 he won the first prize at the first all-Russian Championship of Chatbots and Artificial Intelligence. After the triumph, he started his collaboration with Aida Fazylova in creating the start-up ‘XOR’.
Today Nikolay Manolov together with Aida Fazylova continue to be the owners of ‘XOR’ and work at expanding their company in the US and other international markets.

The ‘core’ of the first XOR software product was programmed by Nikolay alone in only 18 days. Already in the first 18 days of activity, the project had its first clients and earned revenue.

In 2019 XOR attracted investments of $8,4 million in the US.

In the XOR offices in San Francisco and Chisinau are employed around 70 people.
