Professional Background
Ana Chirita is one of the key architects behind the transformation of Moldova’s ICT environment.
From December 2009 to July 2010, she served as an ICT advisor at Chemonics International. From 2009 to 2019, she held the role of Executive Director at the ICT Association. In 2015, she became the Senior Project Coordinator for Tekwill. Since May 2019, she has been serving as Director of Strategic Projects at ATIC.
Since 2010, Anna has successfully developed and led projects and programs with an annual budget of over $2 million, managing and engaging around 25 professionals. She has in-depth knowledge of the sector’s key priorities and has played an active role in improving the fiscal and legal environment, market development, and educational initiatives.
Current Position
As Director of Strategic Projects, Anna is responsible for all ATIC’s strategic efforts involving cooperation with donors, the community, private companies, government stakeholders, and other partners to implement ATIC’s vision and mission and to shape strategic objectives. She coordinates and oversees all ATIC projects, negotiates with stakeholders on new initiatives, and manages interactions with ATIC members and its board.

Established in 2006, ATIC is the leading association and voice of Moldova’s ICT industry, promoting the development of the sector through strong partnerships with companies, peer organizations, the government, public institutions, and international bodies.
ATIC was founded to represent the industry in matters of policy and legislation and to foster knowledge-sharing among its members. Its mission is to protect and advance the interests of its members while supporting the creation of a more favorable business climate in the ICT field.
