Professional Background

Aidov began his career in banking IT long before it became mainstream. In 1999, he headed the IT department at Banca de Economii and built the bank's automation processes from scratch. In 2001, he founded QSystems — a company that has since been developing mission-critical platforms for banks, government institutions, and cross-border payment systems.

QSystems was one of the pioneers behind MPay — Moldova’s national electronic payment platform (launched in 2013) — and remains its technology partner to this day. The company’s portfolio includes solutions for the Central Banks of Uzbekistan, Armenia, and Tajikistan, as well as private players in the fintech industry.
