The history of the company

Our company has been operating on the Moldovan market since 2017 and the Romanian market since 2020. It all started when I got a job in 2013 at a company that exports honey. Based on the experience I gained at that company, I bought, in 2014, bee families on the money I saved from the wedding. This is how I started gaining experience in beekeeping.

After visiting many beekeeping companies in Austria, Germany, and Italy, I understood better the needs of the market. It is important to have an image that is very attractive to consumers. We were clearly imagining what our packaging and label would look like. For us, the color black symbolizes quality and reliability! We were the first to use this color in the marketing of bee honey, and we even set an example for other beekeepers! Today, we have already 500 hives and every kilogram of Nectar Lux honey is tested, certified and well packaged. Also, we buy honey from all over Moldova from carefully selected beekeepers. This allows us to guarantee the quality of our product.

Production

The company's main activity is honey production. We work for continuous product diversification and improvement to exceed our customers' expectations. In addition to these activities, we sell beehives and purchase honey from other Moldovan producers. We also offer private-label and beekeeping services and are involved in exporting the final product - honey. Besides this, our company is an importer and distributor of beekeeping equipment. We look for advantageous offers and import beekeeping equipment.

Team

The Nectar Lux team is our family! We have no weekends or holidays, as we work and invest permanently in our business. At the moment we have 5 employees, but we are always looking for new employees. It is quite hard to find qualified workers in the village.

Since 2018 we have been collaborating with a Romanian company that has supported us since the beginning of our activity. We have developed a working relationship with them based on trust.

Export and partners

This year we exported about 100 tons of honey. We are exporting our honey to Romania, Italy, and Spain.

Plans

First of all, we want to increase our team. We also intend to increase production without sacrificing quality. To achieve this goal, we are expanding our hives and bee colonies every year.
